life lessons

yep...we went to the park...all the kids were freezing, but i dont think they cared.

kaida had fun eating the sand...as you can see in this last picture. and i let her, well i didnt really, but i didnt get mad at her like i normally would. paula and i talked alot about discipline, she says she just lets her kids do what they want if it makes them happy, as long as its not life threatening. i thought that was a bit extreme, but it made me think a bit.

kaida is starting to get temper and im beginning to think its my fault. im a germ freak, so if i see her touching something i would think is grose (say a dusty blind) i would usually take her away and say no....i need to be more layed back, so i am just sucking it up ....kids need to be kids. right?

she seems to be way happier, and not biting me and pulling chunks of my hair out.

she gets to play with the phone now, i guess its not a big huge deal if she calls china every once in a while.

I sure love that little girl!!

you are right, kids do need to be kids, this is something that Shon has taught me, I didnt learn that on my own, and i struggle SO bad with that, I just dont want Scoty playing with that dirty thing, or doing that thing that he is doing, but Shon just says to let him be a boy, and let him be curious, it is a good way for him to learn, something I think all us moms learn over time...
