On Saterday....

us 3 girls got together and whipped up this fancy DELISH fruit pizza ....nummmy!!!

we went to a later church on sunday so kaida was late having a nap. she fell asleep on the way home...and she didnt move when we put her in bed...she was out.......so funny

Fourth of July

well here we are....celebrating independence day. it was quite fun. the best part about it was that garett got off work early and we got to spend the evening together. we all went out to dinner and got a spot to watch the fire works. we waited about an hour for then to start...but it was fun...we visited will everyone and here is the beautiful sunset that accompanied us.






kaida absolutely loved the fireworks. she wouldnt take her eyes off of them for a second. and you could hear her going "oooooooo" it was so cute!!

wanna BE

yes yes.... i am a wanna be professional...its true. i love taking pictures, but i know absolutely nothing about it. maybe some day. today there was a big 4th of july sale at joann fabrics. i got some cheap practice fabric fo 79 cents. then i found these fake flowers for like $5. so i came home and was boared...and heres what i did. i am lacking the proper lighting(hence all the shadows) and seamless, wrinkle free backdrop...but other than that...what do you think??

the fire place in our appartment is well worth it...here in kansas....with all the hot weather and plus....a todler running arround. we are sure lucky to have it. i put together a contraption and weaved cardboard into it...so kaida didnt crawl inside.
i also bought this new chair for $5, i thought it was a steal of a deal...since july 4th is right arround the corner....i thought it would be perfect to watch the firworks. kaida like to plan in it too

FINALLY!! kids are suposed to drink homo milk to grow properly...to get enough fat and clacium. well i couldnt, for the life of me....get kaida to drink milk...or anything other than water. ive tried chocolate milk....vanilly soy milk....apple juice. nothing worked. then ashley went grocery shopping with us and told me about this straberry homo milk. well that did the trick. she LOVES it!! it has quite a bit of sugar so im going to dilute it with homo and gradually get her on homo only....im happy!!

we took kaida to the zoo the other day cause she loves dogs so much. she liked it, she barked at everything. i think she like the birds flying arround the most...we can see those anytime

it was located in a very beautiful place....so green. this kenya pic really looked like kenya...so pretty

cookies

today i decided to bake some cookies. its been raining here for 3 days straight...kind of depressing. aside from the fact that im lazy, i also didnt have room to bring my mixer with us to kansas... so i bought the refrigerated pre-made dough...and to be perfectly honest..they arnt the best cookies i have had....and this time i had nothing to do with it.

tornado??

today me and kaida went to TARGET(our favorite store) with ashley.....a thunder storm passed by while we were inside and it almost felt like an earthquake...the thunder was SO loud. following the thunder was sheets of rain. the weather is crazy down here...not to mention the tornado warnings we get all the time. so here are some pictures i took from our appartment.

more teeth???

i dont know what it is......but all i have dealt with the past 2 days is kicking, screaming and whinning, while hitting my mommy pillows which are so sensitive by the way (yep ....i did it....no more nursing for me...yip eee) so i hope she isnt sick and that all it is, is tooth # 7...let us all pray. im on edge...thank goodnesss for freezeez

...sweetheart...

our little girl has had the flu this past week......barfing and diareha out of control. but i have good news to report that today she has been feeling better and no signs of sickness....fush. poor thing! after a week of cuddling kaida....sitting in the chiar all day and rubbing her belly and such...i can honestly say that today i look like a fat cow! i look 5 months pregnant today. tredmil and situps tomorrrrow!!

JUNE 18th

on monday june 18th we celebrated our 2 YEAR anniversary....wa hooo.....my how the time flys!! Gar took me out to dinner and gave me 2 dozen beautiful white roses
